Banana Apple N’Oatmeal

This Banana Apple N’Oatmeal recipe is one that I adapted from the Medical Medium’s blog. I loved his recipe, Banana Apple Oatmeal,  but wanted to adapt it to something that could be made without a blender or food processor.  

Sometimes when I’m camping without any electricity, I prefer to make meals that require very little in the way of electrical appliances. My version of Banana Apple N’Oatmeal can easily be enjoyed by anyone camping without electricity! All the ingredients can be kept at room temperature and it only needs a bowl, fork, and spoon to make!

Back to the Banana Apple N’Oatmeal. I found that the quantities listed below are enough for a normal breakfast for myself. If you feel like you want more, feel free to add extra of any of the ingredients. Or you can also include other toppings like nuts or seeds, shredded coconut, or other fresh fruit.

Banana Apple N'Oatmeal

(AIP, Paleo, Whole30, Dairy-Free, Egg-Free, Gluten-Free, Nut-Free)

Prep time: 5 minutes

Serves: 1



  • Keep this simple by making it in the bowl you will eat out of
  • Use a fork to mash the banana in the bowl until no large chunks remain
  • Mix the applesauce into the mashed banana
  • Mix in the cinnamon until well combined
  • Top with the dried wild blueberries and the raisins
  • Add an optional dash of cinnamon on top
  • Enjoy!
